Silence = Trouble

So, I really had to go tinkle. I made sure that there was nothing around Sophia that she could choke on (so I thought) Rush to the restroom, come back and find her very happy,savoring her book! Geez... I’m just glad she didn’t get the chance to bite off a piece of the foam pages in that book.  Sophia!! You’re going to kill mumma of a heart attack one of these days!

Nifty ThriftY Sunday

Our Sunday morning was spent at a couple of thrift stores. I have a new found love for vintage everything , and of course thrift stores are the way to go for my new found love. (this makes daddy Marco's wallet very happy,lol)

At Party City, had to buy a couple of decorations for Sophia’s baptism next week. We ran into some pretty wacky sunglasses. We just HAD to try them on!!

New BooKs to read!

New books! No baby pictures today, since I had to work. Yesterday I went to the Dollar tree and found some really neat books for Sophia. Yep! Only a dollar each! Best buy of the week!  I can’t wait to read them to her. She gets all excited with all the colorful illustrations even though she wants to eat them afterwards!

6 month vaccines

Today Sophia finally got her 6 month vaccines. Yeah… she’s already 7 months and 17 days old to be exact. I waited this long because I felt  confused and didn’t know if giving her this round of shots all at once would be the best thing to do. I have heard so many bad things about 6 month vaccines and autism that it made me nervous to just go with the flow and not do some research of my own before making a decision. I never thought I would be that weird parent that believes all those misleading stories, but when it comes down to my baby, I will always choose to be safe than sorry.  So today was the big day and she was a total trooper!  A couple of tears and voila! She was back to her usual happy baby mode! I think I was the one in pain instead of her! The doctor always laughs at me by the way. Her pediatrician said she is big and healthy, she weighs 18lbs 8oz, Height 26.3 inches! AWESOME!!!

FirsT cookie

I decided to buy Sophia her first teething cookies. I was SO nervous they would break apart as soon as she would bite them. Glad to say our first cookie experience was a total I success. I survived and Sophia had fun staining the comforter.

More like a bit of a pic vomit… Mumma has been very lazy this week and has been catching up on sleep. We had a good week. Sophia had her first cookie, her big girl car seat finally got here… felt like q million years by the way. Sophia has been going to bed at 11-12 which makes me super happy. No more guessing games, no more going to bed at 3am! Hooray!
