11 months

Yesterday you turned 11 months my baby girl! You are growing so much, doing so much, and have me running around SO MUCH! You make my days so joyful, happy and full. No words can describe all the love I feel for you.

This month you have accomplished big milestones. You gave your first baby steps (click here) you also figured out how to climb up the sofa {Oh geez}. You love to give hugs and kisses. You know how to say bye with your little hand. You’ve become an expert crawler, crawling at 50mph! haha. There is nothing that you enjoy more than helping me with laundry chores. You sit on top of the dryer and help me throw clean clothes back to the hamper {putting it away Is not our thing;) } Every time I try to change your diaper you love to run away and have me chase you down {not cool bebe :P} We are still working on getting you to bed early {you are a night owl, must of gotten it from me}  You hate wearing headbands or anything on your hair now , but you love trying to put them on Bella :)

 Thank you for having such a sweet spirit and bringing so much joy into our lives. I LOVE YOU!

Reminiscing

I’ve been organizing my photo albums {6,000 pics, not kidding} and I can’t believe how much my sweet little angel has grown.  It feels like it was just yesterday that I got to hold her for the first time.

First Steps!

Last night Sophia gave her first steps!  A total epic moment!!  We were sitting in the living room watching TV and all of sudden Sophia stood up {she was playing with her toys on the floor}, I told her to come {I thought she would crawl my way} and BOOM she decided to delight us with her first little steps! Daddy and I just looked at each other and we couldn’t stop laughing :P Obviously we weren’t prepared for this moment so I made Sophia do it once again, and again, and again, and again :) I think I will have a walking toddler pretty soon!

Sleep deprived

Feels like I have totally abandoned my little corner {my baby’s corner that is}.  It’s been a tough week. Sophia has been falling asleep at 2am, waking up again at 6am, staying awake until 10ish, napping again and waking up around 1pm. This had totally taken a toll on me.  I feel like I get no sleep so every chance I get I try to play catch up.  Other than missing out on a few zzZ’s , we can’t complain. Sophia keeps growing by the minute, doing something new every day, and daddy has had lots of days off which means a whole bunch of family dates.

                               You don’t let mumma sleep but she still adores you!

Chuck E. Cheese Fun

Yesterday we had a fun play date at Chuck E. Cheese! {Geez, I think it’s been over 10 years since the last time I was there}  We met up with Suzy and lil’ Cole {love her, She has the best mommy advice}. It was so nice to get together with someone that speaks your language {poopy, cleaning, tantrums, amongst 1,000 other things} our babies are only 2 months apart, so we totally get each other. Don’t get me wrong, I really do enjoy dates with my non-mommy friends, but I always feel like I need to be checking myself and not go wild on the baby talk, and bore the hell out of them {yeah, before baby, moms were pretty boring to me, that’s probably why I feel like checking myself in order to not be THAT mom} Plus, it’s a little hard to pay attention to your friend and not seem rude while trying to entertain your little one at a public place. I know they understand, but it does make me feel a little bad, ya know?   Anywho, it was so much fun watching our kiddos bond over pizza, sippy cups {sippy cup domination will officially start on Monday for Sophia}, milk bottles and of course yogurt melts aka Baby control {only way they stay put, they love them}  Totally awesome play date!

Today

Sophia is a handful now a days {in a good way of course, ahem haha} She imitates everything she sees, and hears. She’s now says a total of 6 words {all in Spanish} She climbs on everything and wants to jump off everything {freaks me out} Here are some pics of today: )

Cardboard Fun
